Migoyugo is a two-player strategic board game played on an 8×8 grid. Players take turns placing their Chips in an effort to create Chains, which transform into Links. The ultimate goal is to form a Lock and win the game.
Setup
Board: 8×8 square grid
Players: Two — White and Black (White always goes first)
Gameplay
Placing Chips
Players take turns placing a single Chip (of their color) on any empty space.
An unbroken line (horizontal, vertical, or diagonal) of exactly 4 Chips of the same color makes a Chain.
Lines longer than 4 of your own color are not allowed.
Forming a Chain
When a player creates a Chain:
The last Chip placed becomes a Link (marked with a red indicator).
All non-Link Chips in the Chain are removed from the board.
Link Types
A Link can never be moved or removed from the board.

Winning the Game
The primary win condition is to create a Lock — a chain of 4 Links of the same color in a straight line (horizontal, vertical, or diagonal).
If the board fills up or no more legal moves are possible for either player at any point in the game:
The player with the most Links wins.
If both players have the same number of Links, the game is a draw.
If a player resigns during a game, the opponent will be awarded the win.
If using a clock, a player will win the game if their opponent's clock expires.
